Introduction

Andre Finn received a letter from his former teacher as well as his friend Martin O'Neill, who died suddenly after returning from a mysterious place - Luminor. What happened to Martin? Curious and worried, Andre decided to find that hidden land and search for an answer.

Martin's Legacy is a 2D pixel-art adventure and puzzle game focusing on a fantasy story. It was inspired when I went to see the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them last year. I wanted to create some fascinating creatures too, so here comes the game.

Background Information

I developed the game in the first half of this year, with my roommate and other friends from different schools at Sichuan University. The team disbanded after we completed the first chapter of this game because other members got jobs. I want to continue my study and apply for a graduate program, so I still have some time to carry on developing this game. If you like it, then I'll try my best to create new chapters.

If you get stuck in the puzzles or want the full walkthrough guide, check out the wiki page of this game :-D

A lot of the controls don't work for me. I'm on a mac but i can't see the letter or put the key in the keyhole

Hi sararosieposie thank you for playing this little game. I didn't test this game on mac fully so there might be some bugs sorry for that. You could watch the walkthrough video from Cryptic Hybrid in this comment page, follow his step and maybe you could get through this game without problems.

I actually did already because I couldn't look at the paper again. I tried following his steps again and still couldn't get the key to work.

I hope there will be more chapters, this first build looks good. :)

Thank you so much for playing! I have a big plan for this game, and I'll continue to create additional chapters little by little. There're a lot of new ideas that jump out in my mind every day, so I'm working on other games as well. The update may be slow, but I'll let you know if I make one. ðŸ˜ƒ

New chapter, new games, I'd like to check them all. :)
